Common questions
Does the game cost anything?
No. Doodle Merge: Notebook Wars is free and contains no in-app purchases of any kind — there is nothing to buy and the game never asks you for money or payment details. Every upgrade, page and doodle is earned by playing. The game is funded by advertising alone.
I lost my progress. Can you restore it?
Unfortunately not. Progress is saved only on your own device — there is no account and no server copy, which also means we never see your data. Uninstalling the game, clearing its data, or moving to a new phone starts a fresh notebook.
How do I reset my progress?
Android Settings → Apps → Doodle Merge: Notebook Wars → Storage → Clear data. This wipes your pages, Ink, Gems and upgrades, and cannot be undone.
Can I play offline?
Yes — the game itself works with no connection. Only the optional reward videos and the ads between runs need internet.
An ad got stuck or would not close.
Ads are served by Google AdMob and occasionally one misbehaves. Back out with the system back gesture, then reopen the game — your progress is saved before every ad. If it keeps happening, email us with your phone model and we will investigate.
How do I turn off personalised ads?
Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, where you can reset or delete your Advertising ID and opt out of ad personalisation. Full detail is in our privacy policy.
The game feels too fast, or the motion bothers me.
Turn on Reduce Motion in the game’s settings. It calms the camera and effects while leaving the gameplay intact.
What age is it for?
Players aged 13 and over. The game contains third-party advertising and is not enrolled in Google Play’s Designed for Families programme.
Privacy
